| The
Southern Alberta Information Directory Project is a coordinated
effort by Chinook Arch Regional Library Systems (CARLS) and the
Southern Alberta Information Network (SAIN) to create a single directory
to the information resources in libraries and other organizations
in southern Alberta. SAIN is an informal coalition of publicly funded
library organizations which are engaged public information services.
The project
is an inventory of organizations with significant information resources
of value to the public. The directory includes a general summary
of the purpose of each organization, the collection focus, the services
offered and the hours open.
The Southern
Alberta Information Directory Project is a project implemented through
funding by Young Canada
Works in Heritage Organizations.
